Abstract

1,19-Disubstituted tetradehydrocorrins have a ring structure that is closely related to the corrin ring found in vitamin B-12. We herein report the isolation and full characterization of a Co(I)-TDHC species and X-ray crystal structures and full characterization of related Co(II) and Co(III) corrins as models for vitamin B-12 complexes.
