Chemistry EDI Workshop for All New TAs

On August 31 and September 1, 45 Graduate Student TAs and 35 Undergraduate TAs separately participated in a 2-hour workshop on how equity, diversity and inclusion directly impacts teaching and learning at UBC. During this workshop, participants considered how privilege and barriers influence student experiences and academic success. Participants engaged in deep discussions on strategies that can be used to foster an inclusive learning environment for students. These workshops will be an annual event.
