| Abstract | The molecule C26H20O4 has normal geometry and dimensions. The methoxycarbonyl group that is remote from the phenyl substituent is conjugated with the C11=C12 double bond [C=C-C=O torsion angle = -163.2 (4)-degrees, cos2 (angle) = 0.92], while the adjacent group is only very slightly conjugated [C=C-C=O torsion angle = 68.1 (5)-degrees, cos2(angle) = 0.141. |
