Abstract

{A series of tris(ligand)metal(III) complexes of group 13 metals (Al, Ga, In) with 2-(2’-hydroxyphenyl)-2-oxazoline (Hoz), 2-(5’-bromo-2’-hydroxyphenyl)-2-oxazoline (HBroz), 2-(2’-hydroxy-3’-methylphenyl)-2-oxazoline(Hmoz), 2-(2’-hydroxy-3’-allylphenyl)-2-oxazoline (Haloz) have been prepared. These compounds have been studied by a variety of techniques including variable-temperature NMR (H-1 and Al-27) and single-crystal X-ray diffraction.
