Congratulation to Zhibo Liu of the Perrin lab, who, along with collaborators at BC Cancer published the first synthesis of a dual-mode PET tracer at high specific activity using a patented method for labeling peptides of medicinal interest. This work paves the way for creating next generation bench-to-clinic tools for correlating PET images with surgical intervention. The significance of this work is featured on the cover this month's issue of Bioconjugate Chemistry.
