| Abstract | The structure of a self-assembled system containing a protonated dipyrromethene with deprotonated/reduced dichlorodicyanoquinone (DDQ) was determined by X-ray diffraction analysis. The assembly exhibits a highly hydrogen-bonded structure, with an unusual asymmetric conformation for the dipyrromethene. |
