Congratulations to Professors Hongbin Li and David Perrin for being awarded funding through the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) project grant fall competition, to investigate a range of health areas, including tissue repair, spinal cord injury and chronic pain.
UBC researchers in Zoology and the Michael Smith Laboratories also received funding alongside Profs. Li and Perrin, for a grand total of $6.12 million awarded to UBC researchers.
61 projects are being lead by UBC researchers, which have been awarded almost $36 million through the CIHR competition this fall.
