This interactive and reflective workshop provides opportunities for faculty, staff and students to explore how to respond effectively when people bring up an EDI concern. Participants will have opportunities to reflect on past EDI conversations and practice using realistic (chemistry-specific) scenarios in order to identify best practices and help to enhance self-efficacy in these sometime stressful moments. This workshop was developed after many conversations with people with marginalized identities from the Faculty of Science. We hope that this workshop will help to build a more inclusive learning and working environment within your unit.
