Join the annual department summer BBQ on July 25th, hosted by the CGSS and the Chemistry Department.
The annual chemistry-themed pinata contest will also take place, with a pizza lunch prize for the winning lab or department service unit! Please sign up here.
The guidelines for the pinata contest:
- Don’t just decorate and fill a cardboard box. We give points for creativity, so the creation of the shape should ideally be part of the creative process
- Please try to make the pinata reasonably breakable – we’ll invite kids up first, and hope they’ll be able to break it
- Have it ready 1 day before the BBQ, so we can fill it with candy
- Keep the theme chemistry-related!
