High Resolution NMR Spectroscopy
High-Resolution NMR Analytical Services and Research Support Facility
We provide technician-based analytical services and completely automatic barcode-controlled running of samples. As well we provide technical support in the manual operation of equipment by authorized users interested in self service.
The research support portion of the facility includes provision of workstations for offline NMR data processing and chemical structural characterization, and the NMR network for data transfer from spectrometers based on proprietary software and hardware systems to PC's in individual user's lab. The data transfer process may consist of up to three steps including running lightnet over fibre optic cables, bruknet over shielded coaxial cables and ethernet over the standard university network system. The facility also provides remote online booking of the high-resolution NMR spectometers for self service.
