Abstract

Strongylophorine-26 (1), a new meroditerpenoid that shows activity in an anti-invasion assay, has been isolated from the marine sponge Petrosia (Strongylophora) corticata collected in Papua New Guinea. The structure of I was elucidated by analysis of spectroscopic data.
